“When I first started looking for a new career, I was lost. I wanted to be able to look back and see that I accomplished something. The field of construction has given me everything that I could want in this form, and without the teaching that I received from BMCC, I would have been hopeless. In construction, it is learn fast or die. At least that is what I have always said, but the construction program at BMCC lets you learn at a less stressful pace. The teachers will help you learn the whole process and teach the reasons why things are done. I have seen people working in construction doing the same things all the time without any knowledge of why. If it was not for BMCC and the construction program I would still be working only dead-end jobs with no hope for more, but now feel that I have a future ahead of me.”
