What type of services are offered for TRiO/SSS participants?

We offer a variety of services for our particpants. They include:

Free Academic Tutoring, which may include instruction in reading, writing, study skills, mathematics, science, and other subjects
Advice and assistance in postsecondary course selection
Assist students with information on both the full range of student financial aid programs, benefits and resources for locating public and private scholarships
Assistance in completing financial aid application (FAFSA)
Education or counseling in services designed to improve the financial and economic literacy
Assist students enrolled in 2-year institutions to apply for admission to, and obtaining financial assistance for enrollment in 4-year programs
Mentoring
Career development
Cultural enrichment activities
Job shadowing
Transfer trips to tour Michigan universities
Workshops and Talks to improve academic and soft skills
Referrals for counseling
Computer Lab for printing/copying/scanning/supplies
Learning aids to improve testing and studying skills
